Description

This depolarizer is specifically designed for use with broadband sources for applications in which the level of residual polarization is critical to the system performance. Two standard versions of the depolarizer are available, one designed for use with ASE, SLD and ELED sources while the other is designed for F-P laser sources. The depolarizers can be custom designed to meet a range of performance specifications and can be tailored to the customers requirements. Please contact our technical design team to discuss your specific requirements. Our iIn house process expertise allows to offer extremely tight control on the optical performance, quality and reliability. These devices are designed to meet Telcordia standards GR1209 and GR1221

1: The model numbers depends on the input linewidth source. The DOP for a Lyot depolarizer is dependent upon the input source spectrum, please confirm selection with our sales team before ordering.
2: This model is not available for 800, 980 or 1060nm wavelength range
3: The model no, 1, 2 and 10 are also available in unpackaged configuration
4: Multiple devices can be package in single box, up to 9 devices can be packaged in a single box.
5: Custom devices can be made for linewidth smaller than <0.2dB like DFB or fiber lasers, please consult our sale team. 6: All specifications are worst case for the wavelength range selected; actual products commonly exhibit better specification. 7: Devices are also available with integrated In Line Fiber Polarizers 8: Other OEM packages with smaller dimensions are also available, please consult our sales team. 9: Raman laser depolarizer is specifically designed to meet the requirements of Polarization Dependent Gain (PDG) reduction in Raman Amplifiers, this depolarizer can be spliced directly to the laser or to the polarization multiplexer PM fiber pigtail. A single unit will depolarize at any of the 14XX or 15XX pump wavelengths with operating wavelength range, 1400 to 1525nm
